
16th CAFÉ General Assembly – Guinea-Bissau | 28 Sept. – 2 Oct. 2026
The Consortium of African Funds for the Environment (CAFÉ) is pleased to announce its 16th General Assembly, taking place from 28 September to 2 October 2026 in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, hosted by the BioGuinea Foundation under the theme: Coastal and Marine Landscapes – Integrating Ecosystems, People and Culture.
Our mission is to provide financial resources and mobilize partnerships to benefit biodiversity conservation, sustainable community development and environmental education in Guinea-Bissau. The Foundation funding is generated by several mechanisms including endowment, sinking, revolving funds and innovative financial mechanisms like REDD+.
